“ The food is amazing! We love the buffet! Crab legs, dessert, they even make you pasta however you want it at the pasta bar. The prime rib melts in your mouth and the homemade sausage links are the best. ”
“ We only come here for the crab buffet in the summer. For the money, it’s well worth the cost to come here and each as much snow crab, shrimp and stone crab claws as you can. Snow crab is served cold or freshly cooked. Additionally, the beef roast was phenomenal. If you get a free membership from the machine near the entrance you can get at least 10% off. ”
“ I haven't been hear in YEARS. The server was awesome, she literally kept checking up on us and making sure that we didn't need anything. The buffet was awesome. There was long lines but they moved pretty fast. The crab legs were the star of the show. They did smell fishy but over all I'm just glad they wasn't over cooked. I also tried the steak and potatoes. They were also a hit!!!! The deserts were fair, but the free drink ticket was so lame. They were super sweet and had zero to little alcohol in them. But overall this was a great experience, I'll definitely go back with my family again. ”
“ I will say ive ONLY come for LUNCH. I’m not sure on their dinner selection or menu items. But for lunch me and my husband have come around 4-5x when they’re first opening. We get some money off because we gamble there as well and only spend a total of 16 or so for both of us to have lunch. First i need to talk about the CORNBREAD. As a southern girl at heart I LOVE some cornbread and man it’s perfection. My husbands a northern boy and he’s obsessed too :) the chicken was seasoned great but if they have some that’s almost carved up they will give you some shitty pieces to get rid of it which while i understand kinda sucks. But I’ve never asked them to change it up and get me a different one and they could likely accommodate so i wont harp on it. Everything that we get is always well seasoned and cooked well, plus very tasty! As a salt lover I don’t even need to re-salt at the table with I appreciate. The desert is a big star of the show tho. All the different cakes are amazing and the little baby macaroons are perfect and soft! A lot of different flavor options. They also offer a free drink (alcoholic) we don’t drink there that early in the morning so I don’t have anything to report there. But it’s a nice perk regardless. Very pleased and we come up there just for the lunch a lot of the times with the extra perk being gambling when im sure its often the other way around. Keep up the great work! ”
“ I loved this buffet!! Everything was delicious and hot. I got two crab boil bags along with a regular plate of food. I wanted to try so much more but got full. The service was great, the plates were cleared in a timely manner and everyone was friendly. I can't wait to go back. ”
“ Omg my visit today on 1.15.25. Wallace Laura Jennifer and Dante stood out of all the great service I had. I notified staff I have a food allergy and they went above and beyond to make sure I could eat and enjoy my meals. They alerted others so they wouldn't serve me the wrong food plus they made my things from scratch. Safety professional friendly and love to cook is what I got from here at Southland The Kitchen Buffet. Food perfect environment great staff very nice. Thanks You Southland for the great experience ”
“ Excellent presentation clean and great service /food. Price is comparable with higher end buffets. The inclusion of one free beer/wine/cocktail drink was an added benefit. Table service for drink refills was a bit slower than expected however picking up of plates was great. ”
“ Our server, Marisa did an excellent job. She let us move after she had already put our settings and drinks on a booth, husband wanted a table. She kept our empty plates removed, drinks full and plenty of napkins. The food was good and hot as well!!! ”
